About Electronic Discovery

What is Electronic Discovery? Electronic discovery, often called e-discovery, is the process of identifying, preserving, collecting, filtering, and producing computer-based information that is evidence in litigation or an investigation. E-discovery often involves computer forensics, which is the science of extracting electronic data and preserving all important information related to that data.

What Can I Do Here? This site features an e-discovery blog, an e-discovery forum where you can ask and answer questions related to e-discovery, links to syndicated e-discovery news, links to recent e-discovery job postings, and an e-discovery guide and e-discovery law overview for those who are new to e-discovery.

Who are You? My username is David Jordan. I work with e-discovery. As someone who enjoys the web and is surrounded by e-discovery, it was natural for me to create a website that highlights some of the best electronic discovery information on the web and provide a central hub for e-discovery knowledge. This is a hobby for me. To learn more about why I started this site, visit this e-discovery blog post.

Enjoy the site and contribute if you have something to offer. Thanks for visiting.
