I am wondering what sort of employment opportunities are out there for a law student with about two years of law school and two years of experience as a paralegal in a big firm working on document review and production?

From what I have seen, big firms who need to hire for document review work often use temp agencies that specialize in contract attorneys, paralegals, and law students. Temp agencies are useful to law firms with temporary doc review projects that arise in litigation because they help the firm quickly hire a number of people with legal credentials or experience. Here is a good list of legal temp agencies (look near the bottom of the page). You may also want to do a search in the E-Discovery jobs forum, but most of the jobs listed there are e-discovery career positions, not temporary work. Does that answer your question?

For full time document review jobs, I would probably go through the same process (outline above), since many temp jobs turn into full time job offerings. Another option would be to go directly to the companies that law firms hire to do document review; sorry, I don't remember the names of any of those companies right now.
