Hello everyone.
I work for a small review firm, and I am looking for a software package to replace our current use of IPRO eScan-IT. We are mainly looking for software that can adequately handle processing of PSTs and things like Microsoft Office documents into either native files or images, with metadata. We have been using eScan-IT for this purpose, but have had a huge number of issues with the software, so we are looking for something else. I am quite new to the world of e-discovery, so my Google searches are leading me to find only large-scale (expensive) software packages for culling, etc, and not so much in the way of pure production/separation of files. I know this post is pretty vague, (like I said, I am new), but was hoping someone could throw out some ideas. So I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas on software? |

Have you looked at tracker software? I was looking at some of the different products that are available, and most are very complex and come with a hefty price tag. I am not sure as to the cost and capability of this product, but it is probably worth a look. Asset Tracking, Police, Evidence & e Discovery Software, Evidence Tracking System

There's not too much out there that is both inexpensive and offers the robust feature set of IPRO. Check out LAW, which is owned by Lexis-Nexis. If you're a small-scale shop though, you might be better served by outsourcing to a vendor rather than attempting to manage it all in-house. You might also want to contact your sales rep for your review platform and see if they have any ideas that can help you.
