The Georgetown Law CLE 8^th Annual-Advanced eDiscovery Institute event is rapidly approaching. Next week on November 17, eDiscovery thought leaders will gather at the Ritz Carlton in Washington DC for the two day CLE event. Digital Reef is a Georgetown Law Institute sponsor of the event and the company’s Founder and CTO, Steve Akers will be speaking at a 4:15 pm panel on the first day. The panel is titled “Behind the Black Box: Decoding Advanced eDiscovery Analytic Technology”.

No one disputes that concept searching, near-duplicate clustering, predictive coding, and related analytic technologies can help reduce the burden of eDiscovery. Yet, the fear that many attorneys have regarding their ability to explain these methods has limited their widespread adoption.
